Two Pharr, Texas, teens were killed in a rollover traffic crash in Pettis County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound moving truck, driven by 18-year-old Miguel Perez-Cuellar, traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, began skidding, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck the ground and overturned.
Perez-Cuellar and 18-year-old Fabian Alaniz-Santiago, who was not wearing a seat belt, were pronounced deceased at the scene by Pettis County Coroner Robert “Skip” Smith.
The crash happened at 12:09 p.m. on Route E, north of Cottage School Road.
