As of Thursday, May 28, the total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state of Missouri was more than 12,600. That number has increased to nearly 13,000 in the past couple of days.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, the total number of confirmed cases was 12,962- up from 12,673 on Thursday.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased to 771- up from 707 on Thursday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 31.
