Two Sedalia residents who allegedly stole items from two storage units have been charged with felonies.
According to a police report, on April 9, a man reported an orange drill and tools were stolen from his storage unit in the 900 block of East 3rd Street. Another man reported a gaming system, a television, coins and other items valued at $700 were stolen from a connected unit.
One of the victims reported he was aware of other units being burglarized three days before and had seen a maroon Toyota pickup there. The truck was located.
Wesley Adam Franken and Nichole Chere Paxton have been charged with Class D Felonies for Burglary in the Second Degree and Stealing of $750 or more; and a property damage misdemeanor. Bond for each subject has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
An initial hearing for each defendant is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
