A Marshall man who allegedly killed a Slater resident more than two years ago has a court proceeding scheduled for Monday, June 8.
According to court documents, Adam McAlister has been charged with a Class A Felony for Second-Degree Murder and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action in the death of 31-year-old Lance Gibson on March 9, 2018.
McAlister remains in custody, with bond set at $500,000 cash only.
McAlister, who is now 33 years old, entered a plea of not guilty in June 2018 and May 2019.
On January 13, after amended felony information was filed, McAlister waived a formal arraignment and entered another plea of not guilty.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday; and his jury trial is scheduled to begin on June 29 at Saline County Circuit Court.
