American Red Cross Blood Drives are scheduled to be held in Lafayette and Cooper Counties on Tuesday, June 9.
According to a news release, one drive is scheduled to take place from noon to 5 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 300 Crestview Drive in Odessa.
The other drive is scheduled to be held from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Community Building at 302 Progress in Pilot Grove.
The American Red Cross says each blood drive and donation center follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and additional precautions- including temperature checks, social distancing and face coverings for donors and staff- have been implemented to ensure the health of all those in attendance. Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive and are required to wear face covering or mask while at the drive, in alignment with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) public guidance.
