A number of roadways remain closed in the KMMO listening area due to flooding and damage caused by flooding.
According to MoDOT, there are closures in Saline, Carroll, Chariton and Johnson Counties.
In Saline County, Highway 127 north of Sweet Springs and I-70 at Salt Pond Creek; the Outer Road south of I-70 at Davis Creek; and Route VV north of I-70 just east of Emma are closed.
Closures due to flooding in Carroll County include Highway 10 between Carrollton and Norborne and Route PP at Turkey Creek. Route Z northwest of Coloma is closed due to damage sustained on May 18; and Route C- between Route D and Route F- remains closed due to a bridge that was damaged during flooding in May 2019.
In Chariton County, Route M east of Bosworth, and Route J south of Dalton remain closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster is closed.
