Lafayette County Health Department has confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in the county on Tuesday.
This new case increases the total number of confirmed cases to 83 cases with 25 of those being active.
There are 54 persons who have been released from observation and there have been three COVID-19 related deaths in the county.
Social distancing is still the norm, meaning you should stay at least 6 feet away from others in public and wear a cloth face covering or surgical mask when in crowded conditions.
