A 26-year-old Salisbury man who was originally charged with a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Exhibiting had his charges amended on Tuesday.
According to a police report, on June 5, Harry John Shirley was out in the front yard and allegedly pulled out a handgun, started waving it around and threatened to shoot two different people.
Shirley appeared in Chariton County Court on Tuesday, and his original charges were reduced to a misdemeanor for Peace Disturbance in the 1st Degree. Shirley plead guilty to the misdemeanor charge and was fined $50.
