Up by more than 180, the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 now is more than 14,700 in the state.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m. on Monday, June 8, the total number of confirmed cases was 14,734- up from 14,553 on Sunday, June 7.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 10 from 809 on Sunday to 819 on Monday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9.
