Water levels have receded quite a bit, and most of the roadways that were closed in the KMMO listening area on Wednesday have been reopened to traffic.
According to MODOT, the closures in Howard and Johnson Counties have been reopened to traffic. Even some of the roads that were closed in Chariton County are now open. However, there is a new closure in Cooper County.
MODOT says closures in Chariton County are Route J south of Dalton; Route NN south of Salisbury; Route E just east of Rothville; and Route D east of Mike.
Also, a portion of Route V south of Overton in Cooper County is closed.
