Over the last several months Saline County has seen a tremendous decrease in the number of COVID-19 case that have been reported. Saline County Health Department Administrator, Tara Brewer says this is due to the dedication of the community to social distancing and following the guidelines set in place by government officials.

She says each individual and business has the right to provide their rules based on their level of comfort. Brewer says, in the next few weeks the Saline County Health Department will be able to provide specific statistics to citizens concerning Saline County from the last three months.

Brewer encourages residents to take care of themselves continue to practice social distancing and respect others spacing. She says it’s time to respect the virus but it is also time to learn how to live with the virus.
