Mary S. Watson, age 76, of Blackwater, died Saturday, June 13, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 at the Blackwater Depot. Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until service time. A Birthday party will follow Saturday’s services at the depot. Fireworks at dark. Ladies and gentlemen are encouraged to wear their most elegant hats.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Blackwater R-2 School library or to the library or drama program of the giver’s choice.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma McClure Sims and husband Duane.
During the 90’s, 2000’s, and even the 2010’s, she gained and cared for grandchildren Drue, Madi, Gabe, Tucker, and Archer.
Survivors include her sons, John Watson and Rob Watson (Dara); daughter, Jane Lorenz (Travis); grandsons, Drue Watson (Fiance Kayla Durnil), Gabriel Lorenz, Tucker Lorenz, Archer Lorenz; granddaughter, Madison Dollens (Dax); great-granddaughter, Scout Watson, and great-grandson, Walker Dollens.
