A Marshall man sustained moderate injuries in a roll-over crash in Saline County on Wednesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened when 51-year-old Mark Smith overcorrected his vehicle after it traveled off the roadway. Smith’s vehicle began to skid after returning to the road and he struck a ditch and the 2008 Dodge Ram he was driving overturned and came to rest on the driver side of the vehicle.
Smith was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened. He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash occurred around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday on Route Double E in Saline County.
