A Warrensburg man is facing multiple felony’s following the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday.
On June 24, investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensic Investigative Unit executed a search warrant at the home of 39-year-old Ronald John Booker on Anderson Street in Warrensburg. As a result of the search, investigators seized child pornography and computer equipment. Booker was arrested and transported to the Johnson County Jail.
Booker has been charged with three counts of a Class B Felony for Promoting Child Pornography in the First Degree. Bond has been set at $35,000 cash only.
Booker entered a plea of not guilty during his Initial Arraignment on Friday, June 26. A Case Review in Booker’s case is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8 with a Preliminary Hearing tentatively set for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9 at Johnson County Circuit Court.
These charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
