Wayne L. Bargfrede, age 80, of Marshall, died Friday, June 26, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where Masonic Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. and visitation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30. Burial, with military rites, will follow Wednesday’s services at Blackburn Cemetery. Social distancing will be observed at all events, and face masks are strongly encouraged.

In addition to his wife, Alice; he is survived by three children: Leah Ann Bargfrede, John Bargfrede (Donna) and Darla Malan, all of Marshall; six grandchildren: Sara Summers (Jordan), Heather Malan, Allyson Wonders, John Lyle Bargfrede, Ashley Atkinson (Charles) and William J. Warren; nine great-grandchildren, Alice Jean Summers, Valerie Kay Summers, Matthew Atkinson, Alexander Atkinson, Kail Warren, Chloe Jones, Alice Warren, Thomas Warren and Remington Warren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, William Martin Bargfrede and Thelma Lane Bargfrede Johnson; stepfather, Roy W. Johnson; two brothers, William F. Bargfrede Sr. and Roy “Doug” Johnson; two stepsisters, Marjorie Kark and Nellie Geisinger; and two stepbrothers, William Johnson and Ernie Johnson.
