A 64-year-old Warrensburg man suffered serious injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Johnson County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as David Benwell’s eastbound vehicle traveled off the right shoulder of the roadway. He overcorrected the vehicle, and it crossed the center line, ran off the south side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Benwell was flown by Life Flight Air Ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
The crash happened at 2:51 p.m. on Highway 58, west of Southwest 1081st Road.
