Outdoor early-warning sirens are scheduled to be tested in several communities in Saline County on Wednesday, July 1.
According to a spokesperson at the Marshall Fire Department, sirens are scheduled to be tested sometime between 1:30 and 2 p.m. The tests are set to be conducted (in no particular order) in Marshall, Slater, Sweet Springs, Miami, Arrow Rock, Gilliam, Grand Pass and Nelson.
All tests are weather permitting.
