A Marshall man facing felony charges after an alleged assault to a farm hand back in February has had his case continued until next month.
During the morning hours of February 28, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in regards to an assault that had taken place on a farm facility just south of Marshall Junction where the victim reportedly suffered fractures and facial trauma as a result of the assault at the hands of 42-year-old Aaron Smith.
Smith has been charged with a Class B Felony for Assault in the First Degree.
Smith waived his Preliminary Hearing on Thursday, July 9 and his case has been bound over to the Saline Circuit Court, Division IV for arraignment at 1:15 p.m. on Monday on August 10.
