Elbert “Bird dog” Bredehoeft, age 76, of Concordia, died Friday, July 10, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, where visitation begins at 9 a.m. The family requests that everyone wear a mask. Burial, with military rites, will follow at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Friends may sign the online register book at campbell-lewis.com.

In addition to his wife, Linda; he is survived by two children: Marsha Trimmer (Kirk), of Blue Springs, and Craig Bredehoeft (Betsy), of Lee’s Summit; seven grandchildren: Lauren and Emily Trimmer, Noah, Micah and Emma Bredehoeft, and Ryder and Sylvie Warren; one sister, Vila Tyler (Jimmie), of Blue Springs; one brother, Neal Bredehoeft (Carolynn), of Parkville, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Bredehoeft and Frieda Wienberg Bredehoeft.
