Due to a shortage of testing supplies nationwide, Fitzgibbon Hospital has announced, effective Tuesday, July 14 COVID-19 tests will only be available to individuals with a doctor’s order.
If you are experiencing symptoms, or have a qualified exposure to COVID-19, as defined by the CDC, contact your primary care provider to see if a COVID-19 test is necessary.
In addition, until the availability of supplies improves, the hospital will be testing from 6 a.m. to 8 p .m., weekdays only.
