The Cooper County Public Health Center has confirmed two new cases of COVID-19.
According to Cooper County Health Department Administrator, Thomas White, the total number of cases to date in Cooper County is 30 with nine of those currently active. There have been 21 persons released from observation.
If you suspect that you have COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19, you are encouraged to contact your healthcare provider before seeking care unless it is a life threatening emergency.
The Cooper County Public Health Center has taken, and will continue to take, the necessary precautions to keep the community safe and will continue to diligently monitor the COVID-19 situation as it evolves by following CDC guidelines to protect public health and limit spread of this infection.
