Increasing by more than 400 on Monday, July 13, the total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state is approaching 27,900.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, at 2 p.m. the total was 27,890- up from 27,443 at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased from 1,069 on Sunday to 1,083 on Monday. However, DHSS does not report how many patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14.
