Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer has issued a new message for residents about the current situation as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Brewer says it’s been a bit of struggle trying to slow down the spread of the virus.

According to numbers from Brewer and the health department staff, as of Tuesday, July 14, there have been 354 positive cases of the virus in the county since the beginning of the pandemic. With 290 persons classified as “recovered,” according to CDC guidelines, and a total of five deaths, 59 cases are still active, including four people who remain hospitalized.
