Up by more than 700, the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state of Missouri eclipsed 30,000 since the beginning of the pandemic on Thursday, July 16.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number jumped by 708 on Thursday- up from 29,714 on Wednesday, July 15, to 30,422 on Thursday.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 10- from 1,103 on Wednesday to 1,113 on Thursday. However, DHSS does not report how many patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 17.
