A Marshall man sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle crash in Saline County Friday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred when the motorcycle driven by 47-year-old Phillip Hill traveled off the roadway while Hill was attempting to negotiate a curve. The bike traveled down an embankment and became airborne, ejecting Hill. The motorcycle hit the ground and began to overturn before hitting a tree.
Hill was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash occurred at about 9:44 p.m. on Friday at Route M, just north of 340th Trail.
