Edith S. Cordes, 96, of Marshall, died Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Covenant Presbyterian Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Survivors include cousins, a niece, and several nephews as well as their families; and Scott Reiswig of Marshall, who helped care for Edith for many years and she thought of as a son.

In addition to her parents, Alvin M. Alpers and Ruth Butemeyer Alpers; and husband, Harvey L. Cordes; she was preceded in death by her son, Gene Cordes; and one brother, Vernon “Guy” Alpers.
