A 28-year-old Nelson resident charged with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile has had his case continued until August.
On March 28, the victim expressed to her mother that she was experiencing physical discomfort from inappropriate sexual acts. The girl later described the incident in explicit details to a child-safe investigator.
Kenneth Dean Nease II, is charged with a Class A Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree. Bond remains at $250,000 cash only.
Nease’s case was bound over to to the Circuit Court earlier this month and an arraignment was held on July 13. Nease entered a plea of not guilty to the charges and Plea/Trial Setting has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Monday, August 24 at Saline County Circuit Court.
