The Nash Group is trying to get something done with an old building that has become an eyesore in Marshall.
Troy Nash was at the meeting of the city council on Monday, July 20, and gave an update on the progress of the idea of a low-income, tax-credit housing project at old Fitzgibbon Hospital in the 800 block of South Brunswick Avenue.

Nash said he is hopeful of getting a tour set up of another such project so some of the council members can see what type of project this is going to be.

Nash said he’s still working on getting a tour set up.
The dilapidated hospital has sat vacant for the most part since the opening of the newer Fitzgibbon Hospital at 2305 South Highway 65 in July 1991.
