The Coronavirus has claimed another scheduled event as a victim.
Scheduled for Friday, July 31, the “City of Higginsville Sesquicentennial Celebration” has been called off, according to City Administrator Jeanette Dobson.

Dobson says the fireworks that were going to be used during the celebration will be stored to be used July 4, 2021.
Dobson also says the deadline for getting things to city hall put into the time capsule is mid-August.
