A warrant has been issued and bond set at $50,000 cash or surety for a 35-year-old Sedalia man who has been charged with multiple felonies after a reported incident on July 21.
According to a Sedalia Police report, a woman alleges Ryan Tuttle walked in her apartment uninvited and tackled her by the throat. The woman said she was holding her child in her arms when this happened and both fell to the floor. She said once they were on the floor, Tuttle grabbed her head and banged it into the floor and punched her. The woman said her glasses were broken during the assault. The officer said the woman had suffered some noticeable injuries. The woman also had a protection order against Tuttle that was filed in Iowa in March 2018.
Tuttle has been charged with a Class B Felony for Burglary in the First Degree; Class D Felonies for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree and Tamper or Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in the Felony Prosecution; and a Class E Felony for Violation of a Protection Order for an Adult- Second Offense.
Tuttle’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
