A Fayette man is facing two felony charges for allegedly assaulting a female two different times on July 22.
According to a probable-cause statement, a woman alleges that Raejuan Marqwez Williams assaulted her by hitting her in the nose and the right side of her face during a domestic disturbance. The officer could see some swelling on her right cheek area and her nose at that time.
Later the same day, authorities were dispatched back to the same address for another domestic disturbance. The woman said the two got into an argument, and Williams hit her in the side of her head and punched a television, causing major damage to it.
Williams was taken into custody and transported to the Howard County Jail.
Williams has been charged with two counts of a Class E Felony for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree. Bond has been set at $20,000 cash only.
Williams was arraigned on Tuesday, July 27. A bond-review hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, at Howard County Circuit Court.
