The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 topped the 43,000 mark on Monday, July 27, in the state of Missouri since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m. on Monday, the total number increased by 1,123 from 41,927 on Sunday to 43,050.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths inched up from 1,197 on Sunday to 1,201 on Monday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
