The Missouri Supreme Court has ordered that anyone in public court areas in all judicial districts and circuits are required to wear face mask or covering. Public court areas include courtrooms, offices, jury assembly rooms, hallways, conference rooms and lobbies adjacent to courtrooms.
A release from the 8th Judicial Circuit Court (Carroll and Ray counties), states that this requirement will go into effect on August 1 and will remain in effect until further ordered by the Missouri Supreme Court. A face mask will be provided to anyone who does not have one.
The courts of the 8th Judicial Circuit will remain open.
Anyone needing information about a case should check Missouri Casenet or contact the Circuit Clerk’s Office in the county in which the case is pending. For Carroll County, call (660) 542-1466 and for Ray County, call 816-776-3377.
