Marshall Public Schools will not be hosting its normal in-person registration day.
According to the district, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Saline County, the district is encouraging all parents to register their students in the safety of their own home by utilizing the district’s online registration process on its website or the Tyler SIS app on their phone.
The district also will conduct a drive-thru registration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, at the circle drive of the Saline County Career Center at 900 West Vest Street.
Parents who do not have access to Wi-Fi and new families who need to drop off copies of proper registration documents can do all registration paperwork online just like returning students. They can also use this service.
Paperwork needed includes:
— A birth certificate, legal documents, passport or Visa;
— Current immunization records;
— Proof of residency;
— Name/address/Fax number of previous school district (if applicable); and
— Guardianship (if applicable).
Project S.H.A.R.E. will be held on Thursday, August 13. It will not be held at the same time as registration as in years past.
