Another COVID-19-related death has been reported in Saline County.
According to a release from Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer, the death raises the total to seven in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
The total positive case count has eclipsed 400, as well. With seven new cases confirmed on Wednesday, July 29, that makes the total 401.
Four persons were released from observation on Wednesday, increasing that total to 344, which leaves 50 active cases, including four persons who are hospitalized.
Numbers are based on case management provided by health department staff.
