With continued rainfall over the last 24 hours or so, there are numerous roadways in the KMMO listening area closed due to flooding.
According to MoDOT, the closures are in Saline, Lafayette and Johnson Counties.
In Saline County, Highway 127- north of Sweet Springs and I-70- at Salt Pond Creek; and Old Highway 40- south of I-70 and west of Sweet Springs; and Route VV- north of I-70 near Emma- are closed.
In Lafayette County, Highway 23- between Waverly and Highway 20; Highway 213- just south of Highway 24 and north of Higginsville; Highway 224- between Lexington and Wellington; Route FF- north of Odessa and I-70; and the outer road- south of I-70 near Odessa- are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster; and Route E- near Valley City at the Blackwater River- are closed.
