All of the rainfall over the last few days has caused numerous roadways in the KMMO listening area to be closed due to flooding.

According to MoDOT, the closures are in Saline, Lafayette and Johnson Counties.

In Saline County, Highway 127- north of Sweet Springs and I-70- at Salt Pond Creek; Old Highway 40- south of I-70 and west of Sweet Springs; Route VV- north of I-70 near Emma; and Route UU- just east of U.S. Highway 65 at Lemon Trail- are closed.

In Lafayette County, Highway 23- between Waverly and Highway 20; Highway 213- just south of Highway 24 and north of Higginsville; Highway 224- between Lexington and Wellington; and Route FF- north of Odessa and I-70- are closed.

In Johnson County, Highway 13- just north of Warrensburg; Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster; Route E- near Valley City at the Blackwater River; Route VV- west of Centerview; Route U- just east of Holden; and Highway 58- just west of Holden- are closed.
