New information has been obtained in regards to the vehicle crash in Marshall on Monday afternoon.

According to the Marshall Police Department, at approximately 3:45 p.m. Monday, Saline County 9-1-1- received a call in regard to an injury accident that had taken place at U.S. Highway 65 and Business 65 at the south city limits.

Upon officers arrival they observed two vehicles involved. A Dodge Journey driven by James Gorham was traveling north on highway 65 approaching the intersection of Business 65 and U.S. 65 and a Chevy van driven by George Stevens who was stopped at the stop sign waiting to make a southbound turn onto highway 65.

Stevens pulled out in front of Gorham and Gorham’s vehicle struck Stevens vehicle on the driver’s door. Stevens was ejected from the vehicle and life flighted to University Hospital for treatment. There is no information on whether Gorham was injured.
