Area authorities are investigating two shooting incidents that occurred about two hours apart on Monday, August 3.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, at approximately at 2:43 p.m., officers responded to the area of West Saline Street and Albright Court for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located spent shell casings in the roadway.

At approximately at 4:44 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of North Prospect Avenue in reference to another shooting. Upon arrival, officers again located spent shell casings in the roadway.
