The Lafayette County Health Department reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Thursday.

To date, Lafayette County officials have confirmed a total of 168 cases of the virus. With 134 cases declared recovered, and the three deaths previously reported, there are currently 31 active cases.

With the recent increase in the number of cases in the county, officials have issued a Public Health Order requiring masks be worn in public areas. You can find more details on that order posted here.
