At the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, August 4, Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. said he received a letter from Region 7 of the United State Environmental Protection Agency regarding dismantled Minuteman II Missile sites in Saline County.

In other business, Guthrey announced the resignation of an employee and the hiring of the same employee in another department.

Commissioners approved the resignation and the new hire. Love’s start date at the Saline County Jail will be Tuesday, August 18.
