The Slater City Council signed off on a couple of projects during its meeting on Tuesday, August 4.

According to City Administrator Gene Griffith, the first was for sewer lining.

Griffith said the work shouldn’t cause any problems, but there could be some odors in residents’ houses.

Griffith said the actual work should only take about a week.

The second project that was approved involves ground storage cleaning.
