Bernice Elaine Curry Hicks, age 92, of Marshall and formerly of Waverly, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include one son, Rick Hicks (Sandie), of Marshall; three daughters: Doris Jordan (Richard), of Marshall, Linda Flair (Raymond), of Alma, and Mary Giles (Gary), of Mayo, FL; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Ureta “Rita” Taylor, of Miami; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Loreen Lichtenthaler Curry and Oden C. Curry; husband, Allen James Hicks; one son, James Neal Hicks; one grandson, Christopher Kyle Hicks; one granddaughter, Cassandra Elaine Halcomb; one great grandson, Drue Frost Wayne Giles; six brothers and five sisters.
