Ruben L. “Junior” Smith, age 88, of Hughesville and formerly of Blue Lick, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Graveside services, with military rites, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 15, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include one sister, Bonnie Richards (Alan), of Bosworth; one brother, Ron Smith, of Hughesville; several nieces and nephews; and Ruthelene’s daughter, Sheila.

In addition to his parents, Ruben A. Smith and Ruth J. Krouse Smith; he was preceded in death by one sister, Corene S. Hopkins; one brother, Robert W. Smith; and his companion, Ruthelene Nichols.
