Increasing by 1,200-plus on Thursday, August 13, the positive-case count of COVID-19 is nearly 63,800 in the state of Missouri since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says the total number of positive cases is 63,796- up from 62,530 on Wednesday, August 12.

The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by two from 1,323 on Wednesday to 1,325 on Thursday.

DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 14.
