For the second day in a row, there were no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Saline County.

According to Health Department Administrator, Tara Brewer, to date, there have been 477 total positive cases of the virus that have been confirmed in Saline County. Two more people were released from observation on Tuesday, August 18 bringing the total number of persons classified as “recovered’ to 412. There are now 56 cases that remain active and the one person that was hospitalized on Monday, has been released. There have been a total of 9 deaths related to the virus in Saline County.

These numbers are based on case management provided by health department staff.
