Four newly-diagnosed positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Cooper County on Tuesday, August 18.
According to health officials, that brings the overall total to 184 in the county since the beginning of the pandemic. With 122 cases classified as recovered and two deaths, there are 60 active cases of the virus in the county, including two persons hospitalized.
To date, 11 positive cases are travel related and 173 through community transmission. Fifty-four cases are congregate living and are included in the total case numbers and community transmission; 57 are inmates and employees; and three are in nursing homes or assisted-living centers.
