The number of positive cases of COVID-19 increased by two in Lafayette County on Wednesday.

According to Lafayette County Health Department there have been 196 positive cases of the virus reported in the county. There are now 51 active cases in the county and there have been a total of three deaths related to the virus.

According to Health Department Director, Tom Emerson, approximately 15-percent of the county population has been tested.
