There were three new cases of the virus reported in Lafayette County on Thursday. The Lafayette County Health Department has confirmed 199 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. To date, there are 44 active cases and there have been a total of three deaths related to the virus.

According to Health Department Director, Tom Emerson, approximately 15-percent of the county population has been tested.
