The case involving a 37-year-old Sedalia man charged with felonies following an alleged assault earlier this year has been continued.

On February 28, the Sedalia Police Department responded to the call of a domestic dispute, where a woman claimed Shiloh D. Best had struck her in the head with a hammer.

Best is charged with a Class D Felony for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. He posted $25,000 surety bond in March.

This case has been continued from August 17 and a hearing in this case is now set to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 21 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
